LIMC at Race Retro show this week

This coming weekend the LIMC will have a stand at the Race Retro show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. From their website:
We are pleased to announce that the Fifth running of the International Historic Motorsport Show will take place on 14–16th March 2008 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry.
The layout of the four halls will be similar to 2007 with around 440 exhibitors. It is again planned to run live events indoors in Hall 4 and outdoors on the main showground.
The featured marque for 2008 will be FORD, reflecting on the success of the Ford Escort introduced in 1968 and the Ford GT40, so both racing and rally enthusiasts will have a common marque theme.
You can save £5 on a 1 day ticket, £7 on a 2 day ticket and £1 on a car park ticket when you purchase in advance.

London Irish Motor Club are delighted to announce the running of the Emerald Stages Rally to be held this year at Rockingham Raceway, Northamptonshire on Saturday 16th February. Regs are available for download below.
Previously run from Longcross the club are delighted to be able to use the huge facilities at this superb venue where thre is ample parking for Spectators and Competitors alike. The club are confident of running a full entry of 100 cars and this will be helped by the fact that we are able to run cars with anti-lag at the venue with no issues.
Anyone wishing for more information should contact Betty Webb on 0208 3037965 (No calls after 9pm please) The event will run to just over 60+ Stage miles and the entry fee is £215-00. The club offers a delayed cheque cashing service to all entrants, but please bear in mind we expect a high level of interest from crews here in Ireland as well as in the UK as the event is taking place the weekend before Rallye Sunseeker and several crews already confirmed are contesting both events.
The rally, like last year will be televised and more details will follow in due course but we expect it to feature on Men+Motors, Motors TV and Setanta as before. The prize on offer is drawn from all competitors who start the rally. If the winner is a UK entrant they will win a free entry to an Irish Tarmac Rally and if the winner is an Irish entry they will win a free entry to a UK Rally.
Once again LIMC are delighted that Micro-Cam will be bringing their 40' TV Rig to the event and will show live footage from the stages as they happen back to the spectators and those in the Service Area.
