Broadcast details will be announced in the near future. The deal came together with the help of Club President Ollie O Donovan, Vice Chairman Willie Woods and On the Limit Sports Mick Bracken.

Mick Bracken from On The Limit Sports said “I am delighted that one of the first programmes that I will broadcast in 2007 will be the Emerald Stages run by LIMC. The club started last year and is going from strength to strength and that was reflected in the excellent first rally they ran last September when Billy Coleman competed on the event"

Clerk of the Course and club Vice Chairman Willie Woods said " The Club are delighted that Mick is going to bring his Production team over to film the rally at Longcross and have it shown on TV through the Men + Motors and Motors TV channels. This will give some of the really good drivers that contest competitive rallies like ours a chance for coverage they may not normally get and that in itself is terrific both for the Club and the drivers themselves."

The event will be co-sponsored by Ultimate Workwear, Wembley and The Fleadh Pub, Harrow.

The owners of both businesses in Gerry Powell and Gerry Fahy have been instrumental in the growth and success of London Irish Motor Club from the beginning and the club is grateful for their continued support.
This year’s event will be one of the most challenging seen at the super Longcross venue and this years event will feature a number of stages run in the dark a challenge which the club are ready to take up. The club has also aligned itself to the Round Table Children’s Wish charity at the event. London Irish Motor Club aim to help raise money for terminally ill children at the Emerald Stages this year and will continue to raise money the following weekend at Rallye Sunseeker in Bournemouth where the Charity is a partner of the organizers of Rallye Sunseeker and where the club hope to provide Entries, Marshalls and Helpers on the rally as well.

"Following the clubs first event last September which was a huge success, we expect this event to be no different as once again we are hoping to have some of the Irish Entertainers making the journey from Ireland to contest the event" said Club Media spokesperson Xavier Mc Cartan.

Xavier went on to say that the club have already had serious enquiries about the rally from George Tracy, Ed Synan, Gyndaf Evans, Emma Mc Kinstry,  Melvyn Evans, Steve Furzeland, John Stone and Gareth Lloyd to name but a few. Further developments at the Autosport show last week have revealed that the club is confident of entries from current British Rallycross Champion Christopher Evans as well as Tony Bardy in his very rapid Nissan. It is not known as yet what car Christopher will drive but it is an exciting prospect that once again Christopher will compete against Ollie O Donovan but this time against the clock on the stages. Tony still regularly competes when time allows and is a frequent competitor on the Tour of Mull. Club president Ollie O Donovan is expected to be reunited with his ex Kenny Mc Kinstry Ford Escort F2 Car. The car has always remained a real favorite with Ollie and he is excited about the prospect of driving it again.

Club member John Leahy hopes once again to have his ex-Russell Brookes Andrews Heat for Hire Sunbeam compete on the rally following a comprehensive rebuild over the winter and more details of the rally and entries will be posted on the Club website soon.

We would advise that you contact us for the Regulations or get them from the website as soon as possible and get your entry off straight away as the Rally can ONLY have a maximum of 70 entries for the event.

Once again we are more than happy to offer “Delayed Cashing” of the entry fee.
